Licence terms

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. What you are buying

LaunchQuickly is a source-code template. You pay once and receive a licence key, access to the private repository, and the right to download every release we publish, indefinitely. There is no subscription and nothing to renew.

2. What the licence grants

A licence covers one developer and an unlimited number of projects. You may use the code in commercial work, modify it however you like, and keep using it forever โ€” including after we stop publishing updates, and including for projects you start years from now.

If more than one developer works with the code, each needs a licence. That is the only limit on use, and it is the one the price is set by.

3. What it does not grant

You may not resell, redistribute or open-source the template itself, or use it to build a competing template, boilerplate or starter kit. Shipping products built with it is exactly the point; shipping the thing itself is not. Do not share your licence key or repository access with anyone who does not hold a licence.

4. Updates

Updates are included for the life of the product, at no extra cost. They are not a service level: we do not commit to a release cadence, to supporting any particular version, or to continuing development indefinitely. If we stop, everything you have already downloaded remains yours under these terms โ€” that is what โ€œown it foreverโ€ means, and it is the part that does not depend on us still being here.

5. Refunds

Within 14 days of purchase, ask and we refund, no reasoning required. Email the address below from the address you bought with.

A refunded or charged-back licence key is revoked and stops working, and repository access ends with it. You are asked to delete your copies of the code. We are aware this is not enforceable in any meaningful way; it is stated because the honest version of a source-code refund policy is that it runs on trust.

6. Your account and your data

An account holds your email address, your OAuth profile from GitHub or Google, and your licence keys. You do not store customer data with us โ€” the applications you build with the template run on your own infrastructure, under your own terms, and we never see them. What we do hold is described in the privacy policy.

7. Suspension

We may revoke a licence key for a refund, a chargeback, or sharing access with people who do not hold a licence. We will not revoke one because we have changed our minds about you, and we cannot take away code you have already downloaded.

8. Warranty and liability

The template is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is a starting point for software you are responsible for: you own the security, correctness and operation of anything you ship with it. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the licence you already bought keeps the terms it was bought under. New terms apply to new purchases. A page like this that can be rewritten retroactively is not a contract, it is a notice board.
